Colorado: Part 2

Aug 23

• My birthday
• Went to a non-instrumental Church of Christ since it was Sunday. (ecclesiastically stimulating)
  
• Went to the Whale's Tail for my birthday lunch. Had a crab melt.
• Ate Fatty's Pizza for dinner. Pretty nice little joint.
  
• Went to a muscial -- the Fantasticks that evening. Not too shabby.

Aug 24

• Before leaving for Denver, got a 1/4 lb cookie & some tea. My cookie was actually a sandwich cookie, so technically a 1/2 lb cookie with quite a bit of vanilla frosting in between. There was much rejoicing.
• Driving to Denver was uneventful
• First stop in Denver was Wings over the Rockies, which was pretty neat. They have an X-Wing on display there. There was much rejoicing.
• Next, went to REI... which was awesome!
• For dinner, we went to Casa Bonita, which was very underwhelming. Neat atmosphere, bad execution. Cartman should be ashamed.
• Finally, we went to the LEGO Store!!! This was quite awesome, and I blew a ton of cash. Ended up getting #8039 Venator-class Republic Attack Cruiser and #7754 Home One Mon Calamari Star Cruiser.
